I was on IE and didn't have the option at all... just changed to google chrome and it worked y'day... today I find I don't have the meebo bar option at the bottom of the page at all... but a friend has just clicked on me and it's working.. I just don't know where the option has gone??

I figured it out - I had updated the wrong section of my account - It works now.

One moment it was working today. The next moment it was gone. I logged in and then out and it has disappeared. ugh! A new member has been trying to reach me.

I havenot been able to chat for a long time. I have the settings right and am on firefox but just cant do it. my friends cant either.

If you are using FIREFOX and the Chat bar is not working, .. CONSIDER uninstalling Firefox and then download the latest version and install it anew.

Think about this first .. because you COULD lose your favorites bookmarks and other personalization.

WV, there is an easy way to save firefox bookmarks before uninstalling.

Go to bookmarks, organize bookmarks, import & back up, back up, choose a name & voila!

After reinstalling do the same process except pick restore instead of back up.

Yep .. you are right MTC ... and all the add-ons are free .. but I felt I should express a warning.

WV, you're right, there are some add-ons that will be lost because the older ones aren't compatible w/newer versions of firefox which is sucky. I did notice that some add-ons like adblock plus were carried over & I didn't have to get them again.

The other thing one should do before uninstalling is print screen all the saved passwords.

Click tools options, security, passwords, saved passwords, show passwords. Then click CTRL & prnt scrn at the same time to take a picture of the passwords. That can be saved to a word doc by clicking CTRL V when in the word doc.

Actually .. Google recently bought MEEBO ... but I do not think that has anything to do with the disappearance.
