Is anyone else having this problem?

When I send a message that is fairly long requiring me to enlarge the writing area, the ad on the right hand side superimposes onto the writing area creating a problem.


I let DS know about it and they tell me I do not use the right browser for my ipad or phone, however, I am using a laptop computer which I neglected to tell them.  I am wondering if that makes a difference?

It happens to me too and I use three different browsers, Exploder, Google and Firefox. Why we are always told its the browser? Not sure. The message box is coded wrong. It has no limit-padding of where to stop. If you widen the box make sure you pull it down and not to the right.

It happens on all my devices too. I have apple, android and windows

ok yes! That is what I have been doing is pulling it to the right to expand it to the whole page. Thankyou for the tip!

Yup, happens to me too.

DS has issues because the programming is terrible and I'm sick of being told everything is because of the browser. Perhaps the imaginary DS programmers can create a browser we can all download to use just for DS.

What a shock....got an error trying to post this.

I think they are saying that most people use ipads or cell phones now so they are designing their pages to work on those devices only. Thats my take on it

just sent you a msg., Bob. from a windows laptop chrome browser. using an ad blocker. had no problem like what you are describing.

Of course phones and tablets screens are vastly different and DS is not optimized for mobile access so with those devices, nothing surprises me.

I have ad blocker and it does it to me on all my browsers from any device. If you come up with a solution it would be great if you could share it here for others having the same problem. Not sure why there was a need for a PM??

If I use the ad blocker the ad disappears however the space the ad was in cancels out most anything I want to do where the ad use to be. I think I can fix that somehow but I will check

PS just got a 503 back end fetch feed. What causes those error messages?

To be honest, I feel uncomfortable using an ad blocker because we get to use this site for free. It is a fairly big site, although nowhere near as big as facebook but I am sure they must have expenses such as security and cloud services, and the people who try to maintain the site and keep it running smoothly, so as long as the ads don't interfere with my texts, then I don't care. There aren't that many anyway.

I just got bumped off the msn news page, for using an ad blocker so I would hate to see that happen here. That's why I mentioned it.

     I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
