It's been how long?----- more than a year at the least---- that some of the functions at DS have been non-functioning or eliminated.
Honesty is the best policy---- always.
I think it's time that DS admits that those functions may never be 'fixed' or restored and we're no longer told to submit a feedback message as 'busy work' to make us believe that we actually have a say about this.
If DS wants to eliminate some functions (perhaps for cost-saving reasons) that's it's prerogative and it's their right to do so.
But I would have appreciated honesty from the very beginning.
Sure some people would have groused (I would have), some would have left (not me) but in the long run it's a much better way to treat the users at DS.

That is where DS has let me down. They are doing great in other areas but alerts for DS members and discussions is still not working for me.
Not sure what functions you are talking about that aren't working, but for the most part I'm ok. If I have not left by now....I never will.
Like Cave said, "yet where could we have had as much fun as here, complaining about DS?"

You make a very good point about receiving alerts. They don't say WHEN you are going to get them. lol.
Have you tried that Feedback Form Thingy? They keep pushing it so of course it has to work. They just don't say WHEN it's going to work. :-)
