i am part of the WW group. We have many new members posting about their recent losses. There have been several posts in days gone by with good advice for those early days. I tried to find some of them to bump them. However.....it takes forever to scroll through posts - have to hit "show more" several times. And heaven forbid if I clicked on one that wasn't what I was looking for because then when I returned to all posts, it took me back to the very beginning to start the whole messy process again.

please DS, fix this problem with how we see discussion posts. It is a significant deterrent to helping and supporting each other. (Assuming that IS still supposed to be the purpose of this site?????)

I am part of the CVID group and have learned so much from the old posts. sadly the new format prevents me from accessing the posts that have given me more info than I receive from doctors. It would take so much time to scroll through and then be directed back to square one. The info offered by other CVID patients is invaluable. I feel lost now.

It took forever to find the journal I was looking for because DS kept going back to the start of my search.

Edited to add:

When you select a post you want to look at, please consider using a "left click" and open it up in a new window, or in a new tab on your current window. That will leave your list of posts open, and positioned where you were. I use this a lot to open up the posts that I want to read.

I find using the back button (top corner left side) brings me back to where I left of! ((Hugs))

It would not be so much of a problem IF
1. the search feature actually worked (all the time)
2. we could sort the results the way we could on the old (and much better designed) DS, AND
3. we could search WITHIN each group like we could on the old (and much better designed) DS. JMHO.

I would say that the search function should be made A LOT more user-friendly. We should be able to view a summary of posts by day/week/month, and not only by keywords. When people click on the spyglass button, they should be led to a page where it is explained that what and how they are searching... rather than like the "google" style where someone typing in a random keyword and spit out results from all groups. Also the search filters should be implemented to show only the search term applying to a specific support group (and not a million other ones).
