In a member group that I belong to the threads are posting multiple times.
I just tried to post something and that little thing that goes in a circle - which shows that the process is taking place - keeps going around and around and around - with nothing happening.
Apparently members are hitting the submit button several times because nothing happens.
Does DS have a bug?

Pertaining to the specific problem you describe .. possibly, . but doubtful. What you describe usually indicates a 'server responce' problem. When you click, you are SENDING a request to a server. If there is 'congestion' on the path to the server, there is a 'wait' time .. where the "little thing" goes in a circle. This problem is rare .. because the INTERNET has immense 'optimal path' systems in place .. and they are effective. Net congestion is very well managed overall.
The path can be 'not congested' but the server can be 'having problems' .. of several types and there is a 'wait'. Thing about that is if the server is busy, MANY DS logins would be having the same problem. Busy server can still be the 'problem'.
Finally, another explanation is the user's (you) have 'some problem' on your computer itself .. a browser 'cache' may need to be refreshed or even 'cleared' .. some malware (spyware or virus) is interfering with the performance of your computer, or some other system problem with your computer is causing the 'wait'. I am not saying you have 'corruption' .. you MIGHT, but it could simply be you need to do some simple maintenance .. like run DISK CLEAN UP which is usually found at Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools (depending on your operating system .. XP, Vista, Windows 7. If you use a MAC, I don't know about MACs.
I suggest you run Disk Cleanup .. however you do it with your operating system, .. then reboot and see if DS performs any better. It can't hurt .. and it MAY help.
Sorry if I mislead anyone. Still, cannot hurt to run disk cleanup .. just from a 'mainenance' standpoint.
