Keep the messages so that DS can check them.
Put the person on ignore.

Report, ignore, let it die!
The only ones I ever tell about being reported are in hugs on scammers pages so that other DS members know that it is in fact a scam.
As they are usually gone within hours or less it is only to let others know that they have been reported.
If it is a DS member it is better to not say anything to anyone as retaliation from the person who their friends can get very nasty.
