Disappointed to see that after alerting DS to that disgusting spam/abuse "response" on the Physical and Emotional Abuse forum (many hours ago), it's still sitting there.

You mentioned that he
choked you.
Abusers who choke
are abusers capable
of MURDER.
My feeling is that even
if he does all the work
necessary and is both
abuse-free and
substance-free for
decades -----
I still wouldn't trust him
to not be a danger to
both you and your child.
If he's not willing to be
separate from his family
till he does all the work
required, I wouldn't give
him another thought.
If he is, and he does. . . . .
and he emerges two
years from now acting
like a new man. . . . . .

I STILL couldn't trust him.
He'd have to be a saint
to change from a
potential murderer
to a loving, peaceful
partner and parent.
It would take a world-class
therapist and it would take
at least half a lifetime.
How many half-lifetimes
do you have to spare?
As for abusive posts, please feel free to contact any CL. We can not ban abusive members, but we can close and hide their content. We can also speed up the response from DS admin.
