I had surgery on June 20th and now homw since thursday and I am already going crazy on limited on what I can do. Asking for hugs and anything else right now.

Dear LadyDi,
After surviving 13 surgeries I know how you feel. Try doing whatever you are allowed to do but do it incredible well, This kept me sane. Eric

Do you have any interests or hobbies? Ask your doctor if there are any gentle exercises that you can do to stay in shape while not so mobile. Do you work? If so is there anything internet-based you could keep up with? If someone can get to the library for you you could get audiobooks, print books, CDs. Maybe write a diary or blog of your illness. Join discussion groups online like this, and learn about your illness. Or join ones not related, and just chat to other people.

What about crosswords or word or maths puzzle books? Or maybe invest in a Nintendo DS or similar and do brain training or computer games.
