March 18,2012 God called Daddy home. Wow it has been hard. I never felt so empty in my life. I have to keep my faith that we will be together again or else I would never pull through.
For all of us girls who lost our daddys, I pray for you, for peace and for our Dads to come and give us a sign, so we can find peace xoxo
{{{hugs}}} to you! Today is the one year mark of my Daddy being called to Heaven. I pray we all are able to find peace and get through this journey of grief!
Dads are so special, I am an only child, have a wonderful husband, 2 girls and a precious granddaugther(thank God) lost my dad Nov 2011, still having terrible days, it is getting a bit easier. Grief is very strange, one minute you are fine, then just so not fine. We all need to send hugs, I am glad I had my Dad until Iwas 58, feel so very sad for the younger girls who have lost Daddys as life is very hard without them. They were the most important man in your life after all.
I know what you are going through. I lost my dad May 17, 2012. I'm not even sure if I'm dealing with it or just not thinking about it. This past 4th of July I broke down crying and it's not even like the 4th of July was a big deal for my family. All I know is I miss him sooo much.
I lost my dad on May 3rd, 2011....He lived with me and went on vacation to Florida, we live in Maine. While he was down there he got sick and died...it was a roller coaster for sure...He was 79 and there are days now when I still cry and look at pictures and still can't believe he's not with me anymore. I have seen him a few times in my dreams and he looked happy and he looked healthy...I think that helped me ALOT. To see him not sickly and old. My dad was very independant and when he had to move in with me because of COPD, I knew it was a big blow to him, but I would have never let him go to an assisted living home or nursing home. I wanted to take care of him just like I would have liked to have been there by his side when he passed away but unfortunately I couldn't be. I miss him so much, and it's something that will never be easy to digest....Good luck on your journey....Hugs to all of you!!
I too am waiting on a sign.
