Im greg im 14 almost 15 iv been cutting since i was 10 or 11 started out slowly and became more frequent and deeper as i went on. im trying to stop but its not working

Hi, my name's Amber. I'm 19 years old, a sophomore in college. I've been self injuring for over two years. I've managed to stop for as long as four or five months once, but I've recently been doing it again because of other things that are going on in my life right now. I hope to one day be able to leave cutting behind me...I hope that one day it's not the first thing that pops into my head when I'm upset, angry, or sad. But I don't know if that's possible.

I dress in a "goth" fashion, but I'm not conforming to the stereotype since I've been cutting longer then I've dressed like this. Hi im lisa. ive been cutting for 2 months. my parents are the ones that started this. they dont get along and they take out their anger on me. they never have anything nice to say. i try my hardest at school but its never enough for them. they boss me around like a slave. the scars and burns calm me. ive been cut free for 2 weeks.
i have 3 other friends that are also SI'ers. we are in this together and we help eachother out to stop.

im matt i prefer to be called mani and so far this site is helpful to me but i can still use more help lately ive been feeling alone and sad and i cant keep feeling like this and suicide is the only way out for me. i need some advice

Hello my name is jacqueline or jackie whichever I am 20, I have been cutting since I was about 14 possibly younger I have a terrible memory. It's been on and off but every time it starts up again it is 10x worse then before most recently when I had done it I left bloody hand prints on my bedroom wall for a week. My mom is the only one that knows though im sure my dad has a clue because when it first all started I overheard him on the phone with my mom talking about me and he said I should hurry up and kill myself already. He doesn't really understand it that's his problem but it certainly didn't help it. I don't do it for attention and I am not "emo" and I grow increasingly violent minded if called one...joy... I guess I am just really hoping to make friends here who I can help and who can help me YAY SUPPORTIVENESS :D

My name's Meagan & I've been cutting for 14 years. I am 29 years old & like to think I'm pretty normal. Cutting isn't an attention seeking habit, it's releasing pain. I'm the manager of a company & nobody knows that I still cut because I do it on the inside of my thigh mainly. My family doesn't even know. When I was a teenager everybody thought the same thing, but guess what...the pain doesn't just go away as you get older.
