Although I am a male cross dresser I and relate to what you are saying. It is great that your husband participates like this and I am sure you will find many women like yourself.
You say you do do anal sex on him (with a strap on I guess), does he also dress as a woman when you do this, I imagine doing a complete swap like that would be fun.
I am just curious, do you find that it being so accepted for women to wear male style clothes takes some of the excitment out of it for you.
Regarding the question of male style clothes being accepted...I think my initial reaction is yes, it does take some of the excitement out of it....but on the other hand I kind of depend on it too. I'm not sure I would have the guts to go out in a dress if i was a guy because of the instant intense reactions. But I don't really get any second looks when I go out...which is a relief for me because I'm not out to draw attention to myself. So it really becomes about how I feel about myself in my own skin and what my h knows I'm doing and the anticipation of what is going to be happening later when we get home. But on the other hand...it wouldn't be entirely truthful if I said how others view me isn't important. Because on a certain level it does matter. I would like to take it further, get the boot camp buzz and try to get into busy men's rooms without a second glance... if I was able to do that, then how others see me would be making a difference...just sorting through it all...
For me I have strong feminine side and this is the thing I really like to talk about and am starting to do so.
Do you have a strong male side into male sports, sports cars, playing poker and drinking with the guys in bars?
Are you good at getting how men think about things?
That's great that you are starting to talk about it a little bit...me too! Feels good doesn't it?
Em
The thing that mystifies you about many guys is the often complete lack of interest in getting in touch with their emotions because they are missing out so much by not doing so.
If this is the case don't worry, as a guy I am mystified as well. It is a real shame I think sometimes when I see two guys who are real good friends and they can't talk about their feelings for one another, they somehow seem to have the idea that their friends might think them gay or something when in reality sexuality has nothing to do with it.
I have a problem with my father at the moment I would really like to hug him and say I love him but I am afraid to because I know it would make him feel awkward, I know he has problems expressing his emotions.
All I can say is thank goodness I have a feminine side.
So I think what really mystifies me about men is more in the arena of responsibility. So many seem like boys in that they expect to be taken care of. Example: I make sure the lawn is mowed, do the taxes, pay the bills, clean the house, maintain the cars, sign our son up for sports, help our son with his homework, know when he is going on a fieldtrip or has a concert, shop for groceries, do home repairs, remember birthdays, pick out gifts. I also seem to be the spiritual leader of the family and say grace, volunteer at charities, and make sure we get to church regularly. I know much of this is my fault and I need to work on boundaries. I do step back too and let him do things his own way...so I don't want to sound like a dominating controlling drag king! But I look at other households and many couples are living the same way (minus the drag king). Responsibility is on women. It's not just all the tasks, but emotional neediness and immaturity too that I see in men. Sometimes men just seem to have a lot of fears. And so maybe that ties back to the lack of getting in touch with emotions? Maybe they are tied together in a way? Thoughts on this?
Anyhow, to answer your question, you are not the only one out there. It's just that when people think of cross-dressers they immediately think of men.
