My last child was born in 1988 I had the flu twice while pregnant with him... and only once have I had the flu since. Think my immune system is working over-time and I certainly don't want to introduce anything else to make it go crazy. I do wash my hands often - and use great cleaners containing bleach - the water here comes out of the spicket hot enough for a cup of tea! I've always thought I don't catch too much flu because my colon is pretty clear - there can't be too many toxins in my system... ??? what do you think? Maybe I'm just lucky! : ) either way - hope you feeling better!
I had the "24 hour flu" the other day. It was terrible. I was stuck in bed all day, fever, chills, headache, stomach ache, and nausea. I'm in remission so I know it wasn't my UC acting up, as right now i'm feeling pretty good. It was one of the worst days i've had in a while. I honestly hope you start feeling better soon. Best wishes Bart.
