I am currently on my second time around w/ the SC Diet. This time, it appears to be helping, although I have not been feeling good the past couple days (extreme heat & extreme stress are a bad combo). I found the diet somewhat difficult at first and my energy levels went down. Once I learned what to eat, I was better and I now have days where I actually feel pretty good. I have the book and some recipes are good, some not so good. Cooking is one of my hobbies, so I tend to be rather creative. I pretty much stick to the caveman type diet though, as there usually is little question as to what is safe to eat. My 3 year old tells me all I eat is meat & coconuts!...LOL
BTW -- Is that a picture of Marilyn Monroe behind you in your pic?? Nice!!
Esme 1
Esme ~ Imagining years was extemely overwhelming! I thought I'd re-evaluate in a month :o).
My advice is don't buy a lot of anything until you figure out if you can eat it. I don't use the SCD recipes much but go with what I can actually eat rather than what is recommended. Just go easy and take your time. Otherwise it is easy to burn out. It is a lot more work and requires some planning. It is not a miracle cure but since I started I do feel better than I have felt in 1.5 years.
Good luck!
