Remicade and rushes

New here and hope for some input please.  Been on Remicade for 2 years.  I just started keeping a log of food eaten to find out trigger foods like some dairy and fruit.  Anyway,  at times I get a brief rush that lasts 10 or so seconds and then back to normal.  Any ideas?  Also, as I get closer to my next treatment date I notice more nausea and some chest tightness.  Ideas?  thanks.

Hi, I'm sorry that this site isn't as active as it used to be and that you didn't get any replys . I get Entivio infusions not Remicade so don't know much about that but I know the closer I get to my infusion the more careful I have to be with what I eat...I wish I could have helped... I can uunderstand the nausea maybe but don't like the sound of the chest tightness, you might want to talk to your Dr aboit that....best of luck

When you say rush, is it a sugar rush or feeling of like heart palpitations?

I've been suffering from Crohn's disease and have had just about every surgery for it. Remicade was a miracle for me, until my system developed antibodies against it.

Over the years I've been on Humira, Cimzia (for a few months), and now am on Stelara, had my first infusion of Stelara last week.

Thanks for the insight. The rushes occur spontaneously and usually last around 10 -15 seconds. I get light headed but it seems to start in the chest / stomach area. Ideas?
