Hi all have a question .
Can a relationship failed due to the face that I have crohns? I do not tell people at outside my family and closed friends. I tried to be positive but now I feel low because of the situation . What is the exact time to tell u have CD ? In remissions u feel good and do ur best but when things turned to flare up it will be hard . It is hard especially here in our country where lots even do not hear or know this health problem it is hard to tell them how we feel inside, since it is not common. so when and how I have to tell ? , I wish to get some one that understands me (especially someone with IBD ) But it is hard, I know there are a lot who have a nice heart and understands us and start a lovely relationship with out any Interference of health problem.
I am interested to know this problem affecting others IBD Friends.

He was amazing, holding my hair back as I was sick, staying with me when I was frightened and even lived in a caravan in a car park at the hospital for a month while I had surgery.
I knew then what a special man he was and that he was one to keep!!

i agree that you'll find the right one and you'll know by how they respond. if they really want to be with you they should be able to swallow it! i know people asked my boyfriend (hubby now) if he was really sure he wanted to live with having a wife with a cronic disease? and he said yes for sure, ecause he loved me and if thats what he had to deal with he would!!! good luck, praying for you

Learn to eat right together and both will live healthy. I was already married when my CD began. My husband didn't know what to think. He kept telling me to see a doctor. It took years for me to listen. I noticed though that diet seems to help me avoid flares. Staying away from dairy foods and all products that contain dairy has helped me the most. I can't seem to do the drugs recommended. Which is fine because when I avoid dairy and eat high fiber and a variety of other fruits vegetables I have no problems.
