Do yall have worse stomach pain when your hungry?? Do yall have worse pain when you eat?? I feel like both kill me during a flare.. During a flare everytime I eat I have to use the restroom , it seems like for a small meal that equals 5 or more trips to the bathroom.. when I am "empty" but not yet hungry is the best I feel.. which is short lived... otherwise I feel like I need to walk hunched over.. and everything passes right through me.. I am getting so thin, i dont' like it

I had to get a handle on the pain with medication in order to get out of the dulldrums psychologically.

I lost 39lbs at one point and would have continued to lose weight had it not been for pain medication.

This disease(UC) required lots of trial and error to find a comfort zone for lack of a better term.

I am really empathic to your current situation. Finding something to eat that won't make you feel sick or cause pain is such a challenge during acute symptoms. When the stomach is empty, acids may be building up. I use chlorophyll in water to ease discomfort and it is high in nourishment. Have you tried carrot juice? Homemade soup, strained just drink the liquid may be tolerable.
