I was getting really bad migraine from the Remicade since a year I was always at the er whit some morphine shots for my migraines :( but now im better since im not on remicade anymore

I get migraines frequently. I usually end up in the hospital and get the Dilloted (sp?). I was on Remicade for a while and it actually helped. My migraines seem to be related to anxiety. They had me try a new med called Relpax. You take one at the onset of a migraine, after one hour if it doesn't help you take another. I have never had to take the second one. The con about it is you have to carry it with you everywhere and as soon as you take it you need to lay down and relax cause that makes it work faster and better.

I get severe migraines (with nausea/vomitting & excrutiating one sided throbbing) and I finally figured out my triggers are weather related (barometric pressure rising or falling rapidly, same with humidity, storm fronts) and progesterone decline b4 my Period.
I used to take Maxalt but stopped bc I have PSC an auto-immune liver disease so I do NOT ike to put anything through my liver. (all migraine meds say, "if you have liver or kidney disease do not take..") I'd rather just ride it out.
What I can do is take an Aleve b4 my progesterone starts falling and it will sometimes keep a migraine away. As far as weather, well there is not much I can do with that.
My Docs have all said my migraines are not associated to my UC or PSC. But I can def see meds being a trigger like it was for Mia30.

I forgot to add in my post, start keeping a daily log of what you eat since yours might be food related. And then also make sure you keep track of your migraines and any other possible triggers that happened around each migraine.

Thanks for the comments, yes there are food triggers I watch. Although sometimes I can't make any sense of the weather related ones.
