I seriously hate the worry and nonsense that comes with having to map out eating. Agggh! i am not sure of how many suggestions i have except maybe other preoccupation would be good. Liquid diets are boring, but maybe less so if you read, or watch tv? Is it all clear liquid diet?
full fluids are much easier.
a fruit/veggie smoothie will give you lots of nutrients IF you can have it ( you might have to have cooked fruit/veg blended), i like to throw all this stuff in the blender, make a huge smoothie, and sip all day: banana, frozen mixed berries, pineapple, spinach, zucchini, cucumber, fresh ginger, parsley, bell pepper, and any other fruit or juice i find in the fridge. if you have at least 1/3 fruit you will taste the fruit and not the veggies. Pineapple is good for healing. ginger is great for pretty much everything. on a full fluid diet, you may have to strain it through cheese cloth or a sieve to get the big chunks out.
Also, if you are too unwell to prepare anything, the babyfood jars of fruit are pretty tasty, and very easy on the system, so get someone to pick up a few for you. anything but fruit is really gross.
if you can have dairy, milkshakes are great, fruit and yogurt, or ice cream and fruit, or icecream, chocolate sauce and milk.
most soups can be blended really well to comply with full fluid diet, if strained.
pudding or mousse are easy alternatives too, the mousse packets are easy, just add milk and blend for a few minutes.
i'll try to think of more interesting stuff for you. hang in there! :)
