I new to this group but I have UC from 2008. I went into remission from 2016-last year and now is concerns about my health. I am having a lot of GI issues since Jan this year and my new GI is trying to cause me not to worry. But I feel like something is not right. I does not empty my bowel after I go and does feel like I need to go again and again. My stomach is full easily and I am getting sick when I eat e.g stomach pain evn in my side (left) at times. I have GRED from UC I was told long time ago. I am trying to tell myself not to worry. I did a colonospy but failed and need to do it again but could not get it down until Dec. It will be a year in Dec since I am having GI problems and came out of remission. My former GI was lay back since this and I changed GI and she attempt to check my colon but has to repeat it.
I am allergy to prednisone. My GI is given me Apriso. I take four a day one time. My old GI gave me this after I came out of remission but my new GI accidentally was given me one tab a day and a few months after I saw her I asked her if I am to take one and she said no four tab daily. She stated it is strange that I am taken one and it is suppose to be 4 tab daily yet she (her nurse would refill it when I am out). I am glad that i do the procedure in Dec even though it would be better to do it now. The reason why I said that it is because I was having problem with my new GI and reported it and now it is corrected. Part of me want to find a new GI doctor but that is alot of changes happening this year for me and I need to breathe.
