Why did you stop your meds? Weren't they working? I stopped mine after several were tried - each of them caused even more grief. Enzymes helped (taken with my biggest meal of the day). Staying away from things that are known to cause flare-ups.For me eating a few spoonfuls of yogurt with a meal helps digestion. I avoid dairy & (read labels on everything to make sure it's not in anything) and I also watch the sugar intake especially from juices. (These seem to be my trigger to flares) Do you know if you have any certain foods that cause your pains to act up? It's important to keep a food diary so you can know what to avoid.
