He is very thorough, he explains everything well (sometimes with pictures), if you call him, he always gets back to you within 24 hours, usually less. He has great bedside manner....
I always felt that he was honest with me. He never pressured me into anything as far as medical procedures and medication. Even when I was in the hospital in December, he was very honest. He told me about my options. He told me that I could continue with the experimental drugs or I could have surgery, but he left that up to me--he didn't push me in any particular direction.
After my surgery, he even called to make sure they weaned me off of all of my meds properly. He is really awesome. Like I said, I think that he is one of the best doctors I've ever had. My previous GI sucked, so I was happy to have found him.
