It is called Primary Sclerhosing Colangitis. It's a disease which causes malformation and strictures in the bile ducts. the bile turns to sludge or sometimes even stones and it can cause cepsus and cirrhosis. Research it on the internet and see my profile.
Mine first became apparent due to extreme pain after eating meals high in saturated fat which causes bile production. Back in the early 80s it took me a year to get it properly diagnosed and some wanted to take my gallbladder our which would have been the exact opposite of what should be done. Monitor your meals if you feel odd after eating fatty meals this may be the problem. Ask your GI doctor next time you see them about this disease, but don't worry it's very rare.
