i will have lost a battle to crohns/UC. Because of it's development, i am now being discharged from the Navy on 15 Jan. I fought from being discharged for 2 years because of this disease, but my time is up. Because of the paper-pushers i am being discharged.
You see, after the development, i was put on a medical hold while some doc's reviewed my "case", and the results came back that while i was undeployable, that i was still fit to serve.
So i won that battle against this disease... but now this...fucking shit.

And yeah... d-day tomorrow. As for the job... i am going to be a firefighter.
i will do whatever it takes to be one. i have my disability yes, but i am one of the lucky ones with it... my physical abilities are not diminished... in fact, i believe that because of this disease, i have gone out of my way to perform better, reach higher... i will not let this disease kick my ass... Sure, i have to go to the hospital about once a year. Sure i need a transfusion every 2 months or else i start to deteriorate. And yes, i have crapped my pants because i couldn't make it to a bathroom in time. But none of these things will keep me from doing what i want to do with my life.
