This is not my problem but my best friend. Arteries are 90% blocked preventing her from walking good now they want to check her heart. She is searching for other alternatives rather than surgery. Anyone have any ideas?

Yes there are other alternatives to surgery, however; Dinz's advice is measured and very sound. This may not be the best time for doing research. If she already knows her cardiac arterys are 90%, then she must have had some sort of intervention already. Yes your friend could control Cholestewrol better or alter the diet and commence a medication schedule which promotes disolving this vessel build-up. But @ 90% it sounds like the damage has been done and some sort of intervention is called for at this point. Her risk of sudden MI /HA is very high and could be fatal. There are other less invasive approaches available. The gold standard being Angioplasty / catheterization. Some risk ALWAYAS, but , manageable. Good on you for throwing your concerns out there to elicit feedback..
