I hate having to compare all the Medicare-related plan options and costs. Basic Medicare costs $135/month. I would rather not pay more, but that doesn't cover prescription drugs, and has significant copays and annual deductible. The deductible isn't bad, but the copays can add up if you need lots of meds, surgery or the services of a specialist.

I have learned that the Part C insurance providers can boot you if you use it "too much". I will be probably be stumping for Medicare for All, until the day I die. The USA is one of the few developed countries where people go bankrupt over medical costs, and it's just outrageous that "the system" (i.e. a corrupt government) allows this to happen.
