Being retired, how do you stay busy? Do you even try, or is boredom not a problem for you? I have lost interest in being active and fit. I avoid any activity that might produce an injury and send me to the doctors'.
Cooking and a bit of gardening are my main hobbies and forms of exercise. I'm not particularly good at either, but they do provide distraction. I have no children or grandchildren to make demands on me. I don't have a social life, and don't fancy getting one. I am looking into doing some volunteer work, but can't seem to "work" up any enthusiasm for most of what's offered.
I like listening to music and binge watching TV -- police/detective shows mostly. Online stuff occupies most of my time, but it is kind of like work, and not really enjoyed. Sometimes I feel the need to 'take a vacation' away from it. By vacation, I mean going shopping. I don't really like shopping, either, but it's a change of pace and an excuse to go out.
