I am so sorry this took so long.There seemed to be a shortage of time today or is it to many things to do.. Saw Floyd tonight. It was such a blessing to see him smile and laugh and not have his alarms go off. He will hopefully be going to Skilled Nursing Monday if he keeps improving. We were able to get him in a 5 star rated facility. It helps to have connections (I figured I had enough on my little sister to call in a few favors. She is the placement coordinator for the facility) Now I need to try to figure out how to get him internet and a phone. His sugar level is almost normal but his potassium has gone up. His breathing is better and it seems to be stabilizing, The nurses all love him. The charmer!

Great news Beth..thanks for taking the time to let us know. Sure helps to have the professionals on your side. Smart boy. It's amazing what extras they can come up with if they like you. Now you get to bed. Hospital visits can be so tiring and you'll need your strength for later.

Beth, you are truly an Angel, and thank you so much for taking the time to keep us informed. Also, glad to know he is going to an excellent facility. Hope they have cute nurses there too.
Give him a hug from me and tell him life will only get better now. Good that he's smiling, you take care of you too Beth. Caregiving can be tiring.

See my computer was behind as usual didn't see all that has been writen....DS BAD DS!!!!!
so Floyd is going to a fancy place and he is going to enjoy the place with all the help they usually have in those places...wait on him...etc. That is the way to go...lucky man...nice nurses to tease...etc. Oh yeah he'll get better much sooner that is for sure.
Everything that you wrote about Beth sounds like he is coming back to you and us and he is a fight for sure...
I think he sounds like he is getting better each time you write us...I hope it keeps doing that.

Just got off the phone with Floyd. He just found out ICU has wi-fi, so I am taking him his computer. The hospital has made a change of plans on us and want him to go to a different facility 50 miles from here. He says this is a transition until he can go back to Auburn. Hopefully this place has wi-fi. Will be seeing Floyd later today. I'll keep you updated.

Just an update. Keep your eyes peeled. Floyd has a computer now in ICU!!! I know he will be back on line as he can.
