I personaly do not get meds online. I know a lot of folks here use ADC (all day chemist) out of India, and swear by it. They can tell you about that.
My comment was, if you have no insurance and meet certain income levels, some companies will send your inhaler free or really cheap!!

Find out who mnfg. your inhaler, look up that company online, and most of them will have a application to fill out for free meds. It won.t hurt to try....

I know these things are expensive, I pay a co pay of $75.00 for my symbicort, $45.00 for my Spariva, $30.00 for duoneb for my nebulizer. But that is my personal choice rather than use a place out of the country. But they are cheap there!!!

But check the company website to see if you qualify for free meds.

Also, if your town has a Wellness Center, you can get some supplies there and in most cases they are free. Your Doctor's office usually has that information, or call the Chamber of Commerce.

I don't know anything about United Pharmacies, but I do order my meds online at ADC (www.AllDayChemist.com). I first heard about ADC a few years ago both here and on other COPD forums. I am very satisfied with the meds I get from them.

ADC is in India. They have a $25 flat rate shipping fee which is why I buy 6 months' worth of medication at a time.

It usually takes between 2-3 weeks to receive the order. My last order took over 3 weeks and most of that time my order was stuck in US Customs.

ADC prices:

One Symbicort generic inhaler is $9.45 to $12.60 depending on the dosage.

A 3 month supply of the Spiriva generic is $32.55.

The rescue inhaler I get from ADC (ventolin equivalent) is only $3.75 each.

You get the picture.

There are other members of this forum who get their meds from ADC. ADC has been in business several years. Both my primary care doctor and pulmonologist know I order from ADC, and they are fine with it. In fact, they helped me select the medications to order.

Another online pharmacy with a good reputation is Inhouse Pharmacy. They don't have a shippping fee, but there prices are much higher than ADC.

I've been getting my Spiriva (Tiova generic) and other stuff from alldaychemist.com . I order over $100. worth and get $10 off shipping. I told my doctor about them and he ordered a years worth of Tiova for his wife (copd). Also, I use their 'e-check' payment system and find it very secure. You get a call back within 45 min. of ordering for security from echeck.com an American company. I do have insurance but ADC is cheaper than my co-pay.

I used a company in Canada called canadaonlinepharmacy.com. Never heard of ADC but certainly intend to check it out because Spiriva, Advair and Proventil (my rescue inhaler) are the primary respiratory drugs I depend on as broncodilators. I just switched my nebulizer drug from Brovana back to albuteral sulfate since our lovely USA government raised the Medicare Part B co-pays to 20% this years (from 10%) last year and Brovana may be a fine medication but I'm not paying a close to $100 per month co-pay. Thanks for the tips guys.

In addition, I just filed applications with Merck (they supply my rescue inhaler Proventil), Glaxo Smith Kline or GSK (for Advair) and Pfizer. I do not consider myself to be poor but these drug costs can eat you alive so you might want to try that route. You have to have a pretty decent income level not to qualify with those 3 companies.
