Hi everyone. I was on ADC and are the Rotacaps the generic replacement for Spiriva? If so, can I use my Spiriva inhaler with the Rotacaps? Thank you for your advice and suggestions. Happy New Year.

Yes, tiova rotacaps are the replacement for spiriva. Yes, you can use your spiriva inhaler with the rotacaps, but I like the rotahaler a lot better. With the rotahaler you can see that you've inhaled all the medication.

I agree with boldprint. I like the rotohaler much, much better than the Spiriva inhaler since I can see not only that I've inhaled all the medication but also I can see if the capsule doesn't break apart like it should.

For my money, this is the way to go. Buy 4 of these each year. With each 90 capsule bottle of rotocaps you also get a rotohaler. So you can change to a new rotohaler every 3 months for $1.20 each.

The reason I say buy 4 at a time is because it costs $25 for shipping.. so buy a lot but remember that drugs have expiration dates.

To add to what Tom posted, you need to specifically ask ADC for meds with a longer expiration date. ADC's web site states:

"All medications shipped out by the pharmacy have a minimum of six months expiry date from the time they are shipped. If you require a longer expiry then feel free to Contact Us and we will do our best to assist you with your requirements."

thank you very much for all of the great advice. The expiration date is very important. I looked at my Advair and noticed the expiration date is much sooner than I thought. I've been prescribed to do Advair twice a day and Spiriva once a day. I only do my Advair once a day since I feel I don't need it twice a day therefore taking twice as long to finish each script. I tried to get information and order Tiova from All Day Chemist. Tried to pay by VISA and was rejected. Tried International Money Order but was told by post office that India doesn't accpt USPS money order and asked ADC about it. Got no reply and now the ADC site has a "Access Denied: You don't have permission to access "http://www.alldaychemist.com/" on this server. Reference #18.9db31bb8.1359329153.219051ae

Bellywash, there is something fishy about the link you posted. When I clicked on your link, I got a message saying the page is no longer available. However when I typed in the address: www.alldaychemist.com, I was able to access the site exactly like I always do. Try typing in the address and see what happens.

On the All Day Chemist web site there are important messages warning about phishing.

Bellywash, I got a money order from my post office and it was accepted at ADC. The PO clerk did say India wasn't on "the list", whatever that means. However, she sold me one even though she was worried I had fallen for a scam.
