I'm responding because I sense a tint of annoyance on your part because you've discovered this miracle "cure" for you. You've shared your experience which is all any of us learn from. Don't take it personally - mostly related also to the composition of an individual.
For me, it takes me eons to make a choice; no matter what it is. So hold on...do check back with me later.
All medications have side effects & (for me) I have to chose medications that the benefits outweigh the risks.
We have had many medications brought up on this board & most create a discussion with posts about the medication, just like we did with the SSKI.
(i've learned so much about so many different things on this forum, i appreciate all suggestions & links people put on here)
So I hope your realize that we weren't "picking on" you or your suggestion about SSKI we were just researching it. pro & con.
There are many herbs & medication suggestions & I look up all & read all i can about each. If it looks like it might possibly help me, I then talk to my doctor about it to see if he thinks it might be beneficial for me to take it.
I appreciate your suggestion & all others who suggest things that may benefit those of us with this disease. It's how I learn what is available as things keep changing.
This is a COPD/Emphysema board, but many of us have more than the one condition, so I always caution everyone to ask their doctors before taking anything new.
Heck, I was trying a simple spice that was supposed to help inflammation and just learned it can cause lung cancer...will I stop using that spice? i don't know yet, i'll research it further :)
Once again, thank you for your suggestion.
But lucky for you that you can safely take it & it works for you!
