I was never told when to take it either. I take mine when I first get up, it seems to get me going for the day. I don't know why but I am on 02 at night and my breathing is worse when I get up. Once I do the spriva and drink my coffee it seems to perk me up.

This is not a strange question. In fact I don't recall any strange questions on this forum. Strange discussions - occasionally(smile). I'm trying to reflect my age by not using LOL.
Dennis had a website on here one time from a respiratory man who said it helps to take your inhalers in a certain order. I have done that and it does seem to help some. I do my symbicort inhaler first, then about an hour later I do the spariva. In my opinion the opposite way should work better, Spariva to open you and steroid inhaler to spread the steroids, but anyhow, it works.
Then take the steroid again about 12 hours later. (DennyGene, jump in here anytime..lol )
If I am real congested or wheezing, I either take my pulmicort or duo neb nebulizer first thing in the morning, to really open me up faster, (and skip the steroid, because they do not work togeather, and pulmicort is same med(symbicort) . Then take my Spariva about noon or a bit earlier , taking another neb treatment abut 4pm .
I hope that is not to confusing.

Reckon the folks already taking it have an idea what works the best.
