Just a separate post....
Mom is "getting out" of the nursing home for Thanksgiving, and going out for a nice Thanksgiving dinner with me, at my Aunt's house.
WE will have my 4 cousin's, my Aunt, and myself at dinner on Thursday. Mom is SOOOO excited, and has not had a trip out for a home cooked meal yet!!! I just can't bring her here, because if she fell, I can't pick her up.
So, we are expecting some nasty winter weather tonight, into tomorrow. If perhaps the weather is bad for Thanksgiving, we will do a "snow date
on Friday, and my cousin will pick us both up & bring us over , and save a plate for us to enjoy on Friday, and visit with them the day after.
I'm happy and thankful, I will be spending the holiday with my Mom!!

Mom and I had a great time at my cousin's. Bummer though, before my cousin and I picked her up at the Nursing Home, she fell!!!!
She just scraped her back, but she was reaching for something in her closet , and didn't have her wheelchair brake on!!!
She's ok, but felt a bit sore towards the end of the night last night. UG!!! That's why I'm so nervous about having her home, cause she tries to move around, when she's supposed to get help. Plus, I can't lift her up, if she fell.
bUt, I loved spending time with her, and she got to socialize and see my cousin's, and my aunt, and my cousin's dog, and my cousine's 4 & 6 yr old daughters, so it was a fun filled, busy thanksgiving and she enjoyed it.!!!!! Plus, she ate really good, and has recently put on 6 pounds, which is REALLY good!
