Actually, I don't. But having worked in the field, I suggest calling them & asking to speak to the practice manager - be very nice & ask for their assistance getting a call back.

Actually the opposite...most specialists have their secretaries ring a day before to remind me of the appointment....Most will not give any advice over the phone unless its via your primary doctor...

I`m with Gwapo the secretary calls or is great if non contact has been made....try the secretary x x x

My pulmonologist's nurse is the go-between and that works well for me: I call the office and ask to speak to his nurse, and she, in turn, calls me back after she's spoken to him.

Boldprint, Chrissy, and Gwapo, all have the answer I would give you. Most doctors are to busy to make phone calls, so they have their nurse to call.
I have, on occasion, had Dr. Sanchez and Dr. Bothel both call me , but usually it was the nurse.
Also the nurse can not give our medical information with out doctor's permission, but can say when a test is scheduled, or an appointment, ect.
If you have a question for the doctor, call his office, ask to speak to his NURSE, and tell her your question.
She will call you back after she consults with him, which may be a bit because she is not going to disturb him if he is with another patient . That is the way it works here, anyway.
Also, if you ask the secretary to ask him, all she will do is give the message to his nurse who is with him all day, and she is not....

Well, all I would do personaly, if this were me and it was important enough, I would politely and nicely become a pest and call back and say I have called xxx number of times, and have not received a reply, and I will continue to call until I do...or an explanation why not.....
