What the he**? Some idiot thought a Twitter format would work here? Somebody screwed up a good forum on COPD that I had come to depend on for information and inspiration to battle this disease. There's no way to converse here. I'm in stage 4...end stage...I'm out of here. I'm deleting this bookmark. I'm looking for a new COPD forum. I need a site that's a REAL FORUM.

I hope you're checking into this site. I'm checking in just to see if I can catch other COPDers. So far, I'm with gwapo at COPD Canada Forum. There's a learning curve, but so far I haven't gotten increasingly annoyed.

I have checked various sites over the years and always came back to the old DS. I found none that had the ease to navigate, the people willing to give advice and a place that we could all go to hear how a friend or just someone on the board that you saw occasional posts from. I am so disheartened that the owners of Daily Strength thought that this change would be in all of our best interests. I can't even think that it was a good business decision because I noticed that the membership as listed at the top is way down in the COPD forum. And I can't even find the Daily Strength members board. This will probably be one of the very few if any comments I make in the future. "To those in charge, you have successfully taken the heart out of this group."

LilEllie - my sentiments also. I keep checking back here to see if a miracle has happened (someone found the backup) or if I see some of my "old" group. This is a terrible loss. I'm working my way through another support group; and it'll eventually be okay. The re-design upheaval here at DS is so so sad. Darn! Darn!

I agree...even though that site is very quiet like the majority of forums these days, the infrastructure is all set up to make it a great place....I know Grannie signed up but never seen her.......For those that rather the ''Fun'' there is a whole Thread for that to continue plus you can use imaging...Anyway the past is gone forever and just need to move on.....

THANK YOU! I can't figure this one out either. The new interface is AWFUL. It's not user friendly at all. And I can't change my status. They said they are still working on it. Why the hell did they have it go live when it's so dysfunctional???

The sad part is lots of people depended on this site, as they were alone and isolated. Now, lots of them can't get back on and a few are really sick and depressed and have given up. DS made a very bad mistake and have hurt people, I don't think they realize what they have done.
