Hi,

I called my Pulm office today, and asked for the nurse. I said, I was supposed to get a copy of my results, and I didn't. She checked the chart and it said:

Moderate COPD....

So, I have moderate COPD. I have an appointment with one of the Pulm's this Friday, to review the results and course of action.

Ok, well, we have a starting point honey. Moderate is better than severe, and by reading all our posts you know you can slow this down
by staying active, exercising, eat right, stay away from smokers and smoke and chemical fumes, ect. You have a good advantage to really get on this...Like one woman said,,,"Now it has a name, I can handle it.:

I have moderate too, I'm going to quit smoking as soon as I empty my mom's apt, at the end of the month. She is in a residence now, 7 weeks and counting.

Thank you my family...

I guess because I went off oxygen, etc...good O2 readings..I was hoping for mild, but yes...the ideas and solutions for slowing it own Bren, are great.

i'm chuckeling at the thought of you acting all knowlegdeable telling the nurse how you were supposed to get a copy of the results & didn't.
funny how she could now tell you LOL
AND DO INSIST ON A COPY when you go to your pulm.
i don't like anyone diagnosed with this disease, but i am glad you are "moderate" and not worse at this time.
