when my nose/sinus' are plugged up with allergies or anything it makes me "work" harder to breath & i get SOB easily.
I'm a mouth breather anyway, but amazing how much air a mouth breather does get from their sinus'
There are also data which show that treating nasal and sinus disease can improve the global quality of life and decrease lower airway symptoms in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Most of what we call a sinus infection is not actually an infection, but an increase in irritation and inflammation of the upper airways. However, if left untreated can result in an infection from bacteria, fungus, or other critters leading to severe complications and increased progression of COPD. If you have COPD there ARE no minor airway problems.
Thank you all for bringing these up. I don't post much but I do read a lot. I'm bad about not paying attention or even noticing changes in myself unless it slaps me in the face. So thanks y'all for the slaps!! :)
