For now Silfox and Denny are still with us and both experiencing medical difficulties. Have no word on Chelle. Tried to contact her some weeks ago and no response. We lost FlaHam I think was his handle a few months ago and several others along the way. Getting a bit thin here now.

There was a reply from Silfoxx to a discussion yesterday. I think he prefers to cool the bells and whistles. It was hard for me to refrain from the Hallelujahs!

In this group, there have been times over the years when I've backed off because the sadness was weighing me down. But what I recognize now is that there continues to be newcomers. These are people who are looking to us - anyone they can relate to who has been on this site a day or several years. The group continues to grow - more wins than losses.

Having been on both ends of the situation (looking for lost and being lost), it's tough whichever place you are in. just toss the name out on the forum and see what comes up...

i miss & worry also it too when "regulars" don't post for awhile, or when someone posts they are having a rough time then we don't hear any more.
funny, i always wonder just how many members we have, as some (like me) post regularly & some are more spratic, and some seem to come out of no where LOL
i have noticed that winter brings more people online as we all start staying in more.
so i am hoping those that we haven't seen were enjoying the nice weather & will update us when they can.
in the meantime, my prayers are with all as we walk this road together.

What about Higginsp? She has not been around much since Drink Coffee/Marge passed. Prayers to all with all who struggle with this disease and their loved ones. My dear Hubby worries something terrible about me. Hugs to each and everyone.

I'm one of the MIA's...lol..but I'm fine! I have just been in a lot of of pain with my hip..I have Hip Replacement surgery scheduled for January 14th.

This will be my 3rd surgery, in 13 months.

First, I had Gastric bypass surgery,Dec 2013. Then had a Complete Hysterectomy done in April 2014, and now my poor hip!!!

Good news I have now lost 116 pounds since December 2013, and a total, including what I lost before surgery of 153 pounds.

ps. i had a freind do hip surgery a few years & he said it was a miracle & wish he hadn't waited so long. i saw him the other day & he said it is still wonderful and doesn't bother him a bit any more.

Hi Boo, So good to see you are back, and ok. Sorry you are looking forward to another surgery, but all reports I have heard about hip replacement surgery have been positive, so with that weight loss and being able to get around better, you will be something else !! Val had better keep an eye on you , sister !! lol
