The last I read on Dennis's page was he had a rough time with the chemo at first and had to go to hospital. But they fixed him up and sent him home, and I think round two of chemo is this week (or soon anyway) and they were not looking forward to it. He slept a lot, but otherwise seems to be ok. Jim had a scary time and almost died as he could not breath and his wife was gone. She came in and found him and called 911. He is fine now, seems he had a big plug of mucus that was totally blocking his airway, and the doctor un plugged him. So to sum it up Sabrina, they are hanging in there, all hugs appreciated...

I just hope they can stay stabilized & start to feel better...we'll never be 100% but hopefully they can feel better...don't know them well but from what I do know they're very kind & caring and no one deserves to be so sick...every one deserves to be able to live a good life without having so many complications!

Hope Dennis doesn't mind but some are having trouble reaching the Caring Bridge site, including me when trying to go through the link posted in my email for updates. If so, I just pick up the notification of a message in my email account and I have tabbed Caring Bridge in my favorites and I go straight to the website from there..

Dennis awoke feeling much like his old self. Had a nice visit with Phil. Had a chemo appointment at 11:AM. Took them almost two hours to get him hooked up to the IV's and get things stared. We were there for a whoppin' six hours again.

This tends to take a lot out of him. Just sitting is hard to start with. We got home a bit after 5 and he did eat a couple of scrambled eggs. He has been asleep for the better part of the evening. He told me that he hopes he feels as good in the morning as he did this morning. I hope so too. Bless his heart, this is just sooo much!!!
t is early for me but what needs to be done will still need to be done in the A.M. and I am just plain beat. So I am gonna feed the fur babies and head down the hall to me bed.

Thank you LilEllie, that is so nice of you to put it here. I had trouble at first getting to the bridge, then after a few starts and several password changes, it finally accepted me.

It reads like he may have had a much better treatment this time than he did first time. I hope so, and hope they both get some rest.

LilEllie, please feel free to post any update from the Caring Bridge that I post. I have no problem with it. I am sorry some have trouble getting on.

It does act funny some times.
