Hi i am sikcy have copd stage 4 and oxgoxy 24\7 I really struggle a lot ...are bed ridden for 1 year battling with everything and are having a hard time to stay positive depression keeps nocking at my door morning s are so hard have much pain even just taking makes me tierd good to know i am not the only one in .this breath hell,,,,,,,,i .Am from South Africa __pietermaritzburg ,,,,KZN

Hi Sikcy So sorry that you are going that and it just should not be like that however you have plenty of company ans I have sever Emphysema and some days are worse than others . I do pulmonary rehab and it seems to help some and I have a friend at rehab whose in stage 4 and his FEV1 is 16% and he is doing rehab some how . He says any exercise you can do will make you stronger and I know what you must be thinking being bed ridden . My name is Gil and I am hoping you can enjoy some part of life .

Thanks so much for your reply so sorry to hear if your condition my dear mother passed from emphysema this week has been particularly hard but most of all I miss being able to play with my grandchildren and drive my car I really miss my job I feel rather down about the strain my illness has has brought to my loved ones I was always the one but now that is no longer the case but I am grateful for all the care and love my wife and children have given also it is really nice to connect with someone in my condition look forward to your next message kind regards sicky keep breathing
