Get to your doc or ER, get antibiotics for the lung infection and whatever they would prescribe for the cold, given your situation. Very soon, before it gets worse...

I get my pulmonary doc to give undated prescriptions for an antibiotic and for prednisone. Then when I feel like I am getting sick, I don't have to wait for an appointment or go to the ER, but can start antibiotics quickly. So far, that has been working well and kept me out of the hospital.

Can someone explain to me what a broncial spasm is please. I never heard of it. I know I get the wheezing in my chest and sometimes it's so loud that other people can hear it, is this what it means? Thanks

I agree with DennyGene,
You need to be under a doctor's care and on antibiotics. It can, and will get worse.
My lung doctor will at times prescribe antibiotics for me with out seeing me, but very seldom because he does not want me to over use them for fear of getting immune to them.
Each doctor is different, and my GP, will call me in something if I need it.
But first you need to see a doctor, and soon/ Good luck
