I have lots of questions about this situation but I think your best solution is to call Medicare direct and ask your questions of them.
I personally have never heard of the sleep apnea qualifications before a patient can get oxygen per prescription from the doctor.
And to make a patient wait a month when the doctor has prescribed it seems somewhat a mystery.
Again , Call Medicare direct and ask about this. I have recently had to contact Medicare and they were very responsive.
