This hymn is hard to hear without tears. My dad, Don, requested it for his funeral and then my husband, also a Don, wanted it for his own funeral. And to hear bagpipes on top of that is heartbreakingly beautiful and sad.

Thanks, it is beautiful....I remember Paula for her sweetness. Very seldom did she complain, but she was always ready to help you and always had a bit of funny story to tell. (Like falling asleep on the toilet)
I wanted an avatar like hers and Grannies, and they both told me the website, how to down load, ect. I could not get it!!
My brain did not compute!! And here this lady just 3 years younger than me gets on and explains in detail exactly how to do this!!!
I was so impressed and told her, and she just laughed and said her son told her all that, she just follows his directions....
Well, I got my avatar, , in fact several, and had a lot of fun with them. Never had really cute one's like grannie or Paula's, but I did ok.
There are so many stories I could share existed thru e-mails, but you know her also. She shared her kindness, sweetness, faith, fears and victories, with all of us, because were were her DS family.
I just feel sad tonight. I am happy she is out of pain, and in God's arms, but sad because she was so young, and angry that this disease took another beautiful life.
I am sad that I had to be the one to tell everyone. I did not want it to be true...but it was...
God bless all of you wonderful people out there, my DS family. I am so glad I found this group, because the love, the caring, the friendship, is real, even tho it is over the interrnet.
I know some say they would not want to continue here,because it hurts so much to lose a member. This is true.
But I would rather have known you and felt your friendship and concern, than never to have known you at all. I am so blessed to have been Paula's friend..

Very well said Brenda. I cry everytime I hear Go Rest High on the Mountain. Paula is in a better place not suffering and yes we miss her so much. She's in God's hands now and breathing perfect. Not suffering anymore. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you and her family. It seems like God always picks the best people to join him in Heaven. She's now an angel with God.
