I was recently diagnosed with severe COPD. I got my 2nd opinion in January and both doctors agree on the diagnosis. I just finished getting approved for disability and medicaid, so I thought it would be a good time to look for a support group. This looks like a good one. Even though I never expected this, I have a positive outlook on my future. I hope you all will welcome my questions and input. I also hope that spelling and grammer don't count.

Welcome glad you found us. These are a great group of people who will become great friends to you.

You sound like you have a very positive attitude which is what you need with this disease. I have had copd now for about 5 years that I know of.

Please ask all the questions you want and there will be someone who will be able to answer. As for the spelling and grammar thank heavens for spell check.
