Husband currently has a Sequal Eclipse portable oxygen concentrator but he's thinking of getting one of the smaller, lighter POCs that he can just carry in a backpack or over his shoulder. He has used the pulse setting on the Eclipse at 2 and 2 1/2 with no problem although he is normally on steady LPM at the same rate (3 or 3 1/2 if he is active). Right now the batteries on the Eclipse last 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours and then the beeping starts til we change the battery. He'd like something that lasts longer and has seen one, the Inogen C3, that has a battery up to 8 hours.
I think the smaller, less cumbersome POC might be the key to getting him out of the house more and increase his activity levels. Plus we would have the Eclipse as back-up if he needs it.
Has anyone had any experience with any of the small POCs? Any recommendations or warnings?

When I am being really active I still prefer an m6 oxygen bottle in a backpack. I just got a home fill system that fills bottles to 3000 psi so they last 33% longer than the standard 2000 psi bottles.
