I also take Symbicort so diet is important.
I just got my own pulse/oximeter last week & i have been periodically taking readings to find out where I'm at doing various activities. I can get my heart rate up over 100 just by walking down my apartment hallway or loading my washer or doing a bit of vacuuming. My oxygen is generally between 92% - 94% if I am still. I can get as high as 97% if I am reclined & doing nothing but watching TV. I have seen my oxygen levels drop to 88% while getting dressed, getting behind the wheel to drive or getting settled into bed. I am keeping a chart so I can let my pulmo know my readings when I see him later this month.
