Well, to go along with the recent copd reveal x-ray, I've had some good news. All my blood work done and everything seems to be functioning tickety-boo. Liver, kidney, thyroid, no diabetes, except something that led the doc to believe I have a bit of an infection somewhere, I assume higher than normal white blood cell count. Without going into too much detail except to say I've been a bit bunged up lately, I expect it's intestinal. Doc gave me some cipro, said it's good for all kinds of microbes and should fix what ails me. I think it's those danged tylenol 1 which are over the counter here. They have 1/3 the codeine of a T3 and I switch them up with advil so I don't become to used to either of them and use them for my worn out knee and other joint pain. Every time I take them the codeine gives me a bit of trouble but this time it's real nasty so I think I've learned my lesson this time. I feel like I have a kiln fired clay brick turning the corners in my guts. Lol..
I've also decided to give up googling medical stuff. I'm too danged neurotic about it and in too suggestive a state this close to my diagnosis. On the weekend I had myself completely convinced I was mere moments from complete renal failure. Lol. That's why I found that link I posted as OT: to a comedy piece about internet hypochondriacs. Look it up if you want a laugh.

You can get any spin on a topic depending on what they are trying to sell you. For every article saying something is bad, I can find one saying it is good. For every article you read that says something will help you, I can find one saying it won't. You can drive yourself crazy trying to find the answers on the internet.

My normal personality is starting to re-assert itself though, that kinds of behaviour isn't common for me though after a bit of a shock the diagnosis was I reckon it's no surprise to be out of sorts and hyper vigilant regarding my health for a time.
