Canada has an online pharmacy, which is cheaper than america, but it looks like meds aren't cheap in canada either!

What ive heard on the bamboo telegraph is that the Pharmacy industry in India is planning to open up a Philippine version.....but I would still rather trust INDIA to buy from....

Im not sure re-shipping costs but I think $99 AUD n over is free.....these prices are what it costs for anyone to buy these meds with a prescription....

My Pulmo prescribed Xopenex solution (for nebu use), however neb meds are usually covered by Medicare and Medicare has turned this script down for payment processing. The script has been turned to my Pharmacy Plan and they are contacting the doc before they fill the script. There are 2 other neb solutions that this doc prescribed and they are pretty "pricey"..however this Xopenex solution sounds very pricey. (The Xopenex inhaler costs more than any other brand that I have used).

qwapo= you have some great prices on that site, but it says Australian perscriptions only :(

whatsauname= medicare covers the nebulizer machine, but the medicine part is covered by your Part D drug plan

albuterol is fairly cheap, i think the Xoponex is more expensive; so you might want to figure out the cost to make sure it does not put you into the donut hole.
i would contact your pharmacy to ask the price of it.

In Canada some drugs may sound reasonably priced compared to the US and other places but many of us are still struggling to pay for them. It is fine if you have a drug plan from your work or were smart enough to apply for one BEFORE you got sick. If you have a pre-existing condition when you apply you would either not be considered or the premiums would be too high. I can go on a site called pharmacycompass.ca and check the prices per pill at all pharmacies in my area but they do not compare inhalers which are crazy expensive here. We do have something in BC that once you have spent a certain amount ($1000 in my case) then the Gov't kicks in for $70% but the costs of the drugs are not what you actually pay, but what the Gov's deems them to be worth which is considerably less. It is usually end of Dec. when I reach my $1000.
and I am on Advair, Spiriva, Ventolin, Bricanyl, prednisone and a few other things for anxiety and blood pressure. Man I talk a lot!!
