She is wonderful to me, has a beautiful home and I am dam lucky not to be in a nursing home because I can't walk, can't breathe and can't eat all without a lot of pain or disgusting noises.. So I am really, really lucky to be where I am.I don't have to feel I'm a burden, either.I sold my home in Texas and handed my daughter $40,000, plus she gets my SS check for $1,675 monthly. That pays her mortgage. So when I feel like I'm a burden, I can just remind myself that I'm paying my way. So I landed on my feet after five or six years of near death illnesses and I 'm really lucky. I know that. I am so miserable, I can hardly stand it. I hate Virginia. The roads are all narrow and curvy and jam packed with traffic. Waiting for a light to change at a major intersection, I counted 44 lanes!! And ALL packed and backed up. M y daughter is an engineer with two master's degrees . She was a n navy officer for 21 years, has been all over the world.I graduated hi school and drove a truck. Her friends barely speak to me.We're even because I don't think much of them either. The weather here never seems to be summer. It gets warm,but I want SUMMER, as in 112 in the shade,.There are really beautiful trees in Virginia. But I want a horizon you can see , beyond desert and mesas and space .I wanna go home !!

Re the chest, try Vicks vapor rub and a hot towel. I know that sounds country but it helps. Also, hydrocodone, if you have it.

My wife and I lived in Newport News for fifteen years. Her Dad was retired airforce. Anyway, long story short, her family is all gone now. I lost her last year. I'm in the panhandle in north Idaho now, held hostage by the system and Medicaid trying to make it on 735 a month. Good thing my appetite isn't huge. lol. I'm ok though. Got my dnr in place and dealing with stuff on a daily basis. Feel much better today. Just happens now and then.

Don' t understand dnr ?? Don't understand half what I hear these days-- I usually just assume it has something to do with computers, which I don't understand at all. Am glad you feel better. Remember the Vicks if it happens again. Idaho seems a bad place for anyone with lung trouble, especially a Texan. Sorry for your loss. My husband died eight years ago, in a. nursing home. He was a land surveyor. We had a really rotten marriage and had been separated for years but sometimes I miss him-- . I have been to Newport news.Had a very good friend there, Dorthey Youings, Husband was a major in the army, stationed or posted for some strange g reason in Victoria, West Cameroon and she and two sons were there for a year but returned to Newport. One son became a rather well known research scientist. Anyway, stay well.
