HI Everybody,

Hope everyone had a fantastic Labor Day Weekend! I have a serious question: I am looking for a 'no exam' life insurance company and I would like to get your input on this subject. I have been a career captain for 27 years and I lost one of my charter guests last week from a fatal coronary. Its the first time this is ever happened to me and this whole ordeal has been a major wake up call for me. I have two beautiful kids that I don't want to leave high and dry if I pass suddenly.

So...if anyone would like to recommend an insurance company, I would surely appreciate it. Thank you everyone...have a blessed day!

Be aware that it will cost a mite for term life at your age (just like me). I have a 250K policy that runs about 4K/yr...

thank you Denny. I just got one quote and you hit the nail on the proverbial head. $389.00 a month for $250K for a 20 yr term. I'll still be looking and trying to get it down a bit, but I have that funny feeling it won't vary that much. Thank you sir.

Cap, I don't have anything to add, but I am interested in this. I don"t need as much as your looking at, or what Denny has. But another 50K would sure benefit the wife so I will continue to watch the comments on this. Thanks Bill

I would deft stick with the term insurance. That's what Suzy Orman suggests.

I don't know except for NY Life, any other companies.

here's some info on what Denny suggested thru AARP insurance. At my age, 60, and for maximum of $15,000.00 of life insurance it would cost me $89.00 a month plus annual membership dues. They market it as a funeral expense insurance. You can choose how much you would like up to $15K. Check it out.
