Hi...My name is Pam and I am new to the site. Diagnosed about 6 years ago with COPD. I am 60 and work full time for a large healthcare system in FL. I walk 30 min a day and try to stay as healthy as possible. great to be here.

Hi..My name is Marilyn and I am also new to this site. I have had asthma since I was born. I'm 68 and was diagnosed with COPD several years ago, I was recently told by another doctor that I have Emphysema - never smoked a day in my life. I am basically indoors all the time and unable to exercise. I am a healthy eater. Don't what to do anymore.

Pam I'm happy you are able to work. COPD is a bad disease but I know there is
different levels of it.. I wasn't to bad until I had to have radiation and that hurt
my lungs more ... I do try and work out but just have to go slow and be sure
and use my inhaler 30 mins before I do. This site is somewhat slow but I do try
and look in when I can.

we need support and it does help us.
